"Agent Kim Reactivated" is writing a success story that is sweeping not just the domestic audience, but the entire world.

Episode 6 of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Agent Kim Reactivated" (written by Nam Dae-jung, directed by Lee Seung-young and Lee So-eun), which aired on the 11th, recorded 23.2% in the metropolitan area, 22.3% nationwide, and a peak viewership rating of 26.4% according to Nielsen Korea. This is a record that has broken its own highest rating once again, showing a frightening upward trend that renews its peak with every episode.

In particular, "Agent Kim Reactivated" has surpassed all of SBS's representative hit works such as "The Fiery Priest", "Taxi Driver", "Good Partner", "One the Woman", and "Hot Stove League", proudly taking the second spot in the history of SBS Friday-Saturday dramas. With only the record of the all-time hit "The Penthouse: War in life" remaining, attention is focused on whether it will write a new history for K-Dramas. The 20-49 viewership rating, which is sensitive to trends, also showed a peak of 9.3% and an average of 8.1%, proving its broad popularity.

The overseas response is also explosive. According to the global TOP 10 rankings released by Netflix's official site Tudum on the 15th, "Agent Kim Reactivated" took first place in the non-English TV show category for two consecutive weeks. It swept the top spot in 22 countries around the world, including Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Qatar, Thailand, Singapore, Bolivia, and Peru, and proved its global syndrome status by appearing on the TOP 10 list in a total of 72 countries.

The domestic buzz market also has no rival. "Agent Kim Reactivated" took first place for two consecutive weeks in the TV-OTT drama buzz survey for the second week of July, sweeping the top spots in all categories including news, VON (online community reactions), videos, and social media. In the cast buzz category, lead actor So Jisub took first place for two consecutive weeks, and Seo Sumin and Yoon Kyungho also ranked in the TOP 5, dominating the chart. In addition, So Jisub also took first place in the July 2026 drama actor brand reputation announced by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, boasting unparalleled influence.

The 6th episode depicted a spectacular development where Agent Kim (So Jisub), Seong Han-su (Choi Dae-hoon), and Park Jin-cheol (Yoon Kyungho) carried out a life-risking operation to save Minji (Seo Sumin), who was kidnapped by the Special Mission Bureau. The tearful words that Agent Kim, who finally made eye contact with his daughter, said in a trembling voice, "Minji, let's go home," delivered a heavy impression to the home theater. Tension is rising regarding future developments, specifically whether they will be able to break through the tight siege of the Special Mission Bureau and escape safely.

The production team stated, "We sincerely thank the viewers for their passionate love. From episode 7 of 'Agent Kim Reactivated', a story with a different dimension of development, action, and explosive emotions of the characters will unfold. As we enter the latter half, we will repay your expectations with more intense action, highly immersive stories, and unpredictable twists."

Meanwhile, episode 7 of "Agent Kim Reactivated" will air on Friday the 17th at 9:50 PM. Also, thanks to the enthusiastic support of viewers, "Agent Kim Special" has been confirmed to air on Friday the 31st and Saturday, August 1, after the conclusion of "Agent Kim Reactivated," to continue the heat.
