On July 6, the organizers of the 2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer, which will be held at KINTEX in Ilsan on Sunday, August 9, announced the final third wave of artists to join the festival, following explosive interest from global fans.
Building on the momentum of the previously announced first and second lineups, this final reveal features eight additional teams, including artists who have captivated the music industry with their unique identities and musical styles, as well as rising global rookies. With this, the Gayo Daejeon Summer has finalized a massive lineup of 27 teams, solidifying its status as a premier mid-year music event.
The final lineup is packed with stars known for their distinct concepts and broad appeal. First, Picheolin (SEVENTEEN's DINO), who continues to create a buzz with his intense alter-ego persona, and the trendy icon BIBI, who has swept the domestic and international music scenes with her bold charm, are set to heat up the stage. They will be joined by YENA, who is expected to double the festival's energy with her signature positive vibes.
The participation of next-generation stars with strong global fan support is another key highlight. xikers, who are growing their presence on the global stage with powerful performances, and the talented rookie group NEXZ will add their trendy energy to the event. Furthermore, promising new acts such as Baby DONT Cry, AxMxP, and IDID have rounded out the final lineup, further expanding the festival's musical spectrum.
Now in its third summer, the Gayo Daejeon Summer has already generated immense hype with a powerful lineup that transcends generations and genres. This includes global top-tier artists such as Stray Kids, global mega-rookies BABYMONSTER, TEN, RIIZE, NCT WISH, Hearts2Hearts, ALLDAY PROJECT, and ALPHA DRIVE ONE.
The production team for the Gayo Daejeon Summer stated, "Following our already powerful lineup, we are excited to present a final list of artists who each possess their own unique colors." They added, "With a total of 27 teams now confirmed, we are planning special stages that cannot be seen on regular broadcasts, along with cool and overwhelming production elements to blow away the midsummer heat, so please look forward to it."
