On the upcoming 500th episode special of 'My Little Old Boy', airing on June 21, actor So Ji-sub—who is making his return in SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Agent Kim Reactivated'—will make an appearance and brighten up the studio.
During the recent studio recording, So Ji-sub warmed everyone's hearts by presenting the "Movengers" (the mothers on the show) with bouquets of flowers he had personally prepared as soon as he arrived. Touched by the unexpected gift, the mothers couldn't hide their shy smiles, saying, "It feels like it's been decades since we last received flowers." As the studio erupted with passionate cheers and warm welcomes for So Ji-sub, MC Shin Dong-yeob shook his head in amazement, saying, "I've never seen the mothers react this enthusiastically before," bringing big laughter right from the start.
During the recording, So Ji-sub revealed that he has maintained close friendships for a long time with MC Shin Dong-yeob, as well as actors Lee Byung-hun and Song Seung-heon. When MC Seo Jang-hoon threw a surprise question, asking, "Who is your favorite older brother among them?" So Ji-sub pointed to a specific person and made a heartfelt confession, calling him "a brother I love and respect," raising curiosity about who this "favorite older brother" might be.
Meanwhile, MC Shin Dong-yeob reminisced about So Ji-sub's rookie days and shared a shocking past anecdote. Shin Dong-yeob sent a stir through the studio by revealing that he had once advised Song Seung-heon, "Don't hang out too much with So Ji-sub." Given that the two are now known as one of the entertainment industry's most iconic best friends, such a comment is hard to imagine, heightening curiosity about the real reason behind Shin Dong-yeob's past misunderstanding of So Ji-sub.
So Ji-sub also surprised everyone by revealing that Song Seung-heon is currently the only person he follows on his personal social media account. He reportedly touched everyone on set by sharing, "Song Seung-heon is like a benefactor to me," and opening up about their special bond and hidden history that makes them as close as real brothers.
