Kim Jong-un Sends Congratulatory Message to Xi Jinping: "Developing Relations to Meet the Demands of the Times" In the message, Kim stated, "On behalf of all party members, the Korean people, and myself, I extend warm congratulations to you, and through you, to the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, all members of your party, and the fraternal Chinese people." Referring to the summit held in Pyongyang last month, he emphasized that it was a "historic occasion that deepened comradely friendship and trust, and reaffirmed our unwavering will to more powerfully drive socialist construction in both countries and the traditional friendly relations between them."
