Stray Dog Dramatic Rescue After Being Trapped with Plastic Tub on Head for a Week

As the weather turns colder, heartwarming news feels all the more welcome.

A stray dog that had been wandering around with a plastic tub stuck on its head has been dramatically rescued.

This is in Austin, Texas, U.S.

A dog can be seen wandering through the bushes with a large plastic tub stuck over its head.

It had spent a perilous week without a single drop of water or a single kernel of food, and because it was extremely wary of humans, even getting close was not easy.

In the end, a rescue team deployed a drone to track its location and managed to rescue it.

Given the name Oreo afterward, this dog has fortunately recovered its health and is now preparing for adoption while waiting for a lifelong family.

We hope only happy days await it now in the warm embrace of a family.
