Guiding Kim Yu-jae's choreography is Kaitlyn Weaver, a world-class choreographer.

Weaver, a former Canadian ice dancer, is one of the top choreographers active today, having worked with skaters such as 2024 Grand Prix Final champion Amber Glenn and this year's World Championship silver medalist Mone Chiba.

Twin sisters Kim Yu-jae and Kim Yu-seong, who are making their senior debut this season, are Weaver's first South Korean students.

The older sister, Kim Yu-jae, received graceful and delicate choreography set to the background music Frida, while the younger sister, Kim Yu-seong, prepared an energetic routine to the upbeat rhythm of "I Gotcha." Both expressed satisfaction with the tailored choreography that suits their individual personalities.

[Kim Yu-seong / Younger Twin: I haven't done such upbeat music before, so it's really great to be able to take on a new challenge.]

Last season, leveraging their signature triple axel, the twins won gold medals at the Junior Grand Prix events side by side and advanced together to the Grand Prix Final. They further raised expectations for their senior debut season by finishing first and second side by side at a Challenger series event held in August, which served as a prelude.
