Kim Si-woo and Tom Kim Receive Invitation from Golf Legend Tiger Woods to Compete in December's Hero World Challenge

South Korean golfers Kim Si-woo and Tom Kim have received invitations from golf legend Tiger Woods (USA) to compete in the Hero World Challenge, an official event on the PGA Tour.

The organizing committee for the Hero World Challenge, hosted by Woods, announced the initial list of 17 players on the 20th (local time), which includes world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler (USA) alongside Kim Si-woo and Tom Kim.

The tournament, featuring a 20-player field, will take place over four days starting December 3 local time at the Albany Golf Course in the Bahamas.

Participants are selected based on factors such as the world rankings following the Tour Championship. This marks the first time Kim Si-woo has received an invitation to the tournament.

Kim Si-woo finished within the top 30 in the FedEx Cup rankings this year to advance to the Tour Championship, the final event of the playoffs, and played a stellar role as a member of the International Team at the Presidents Cup against the U.S. team.
