At Hangyeryeong Pass on Seoraksan, located 900 meters above sea level.

Both slopes across the national highway have turned brilliant shades of red and yellow.

The foliage is brightly tinted, looking as if it has been delicately embroidered around the strange rock formations.

The autumn foliage on Seoraksan, which began at Daecheongbong Peak in late September, has now descended to the area around Yongso Waterfall at an altitude of 500 meters.

Combined with the powerful streams of the cascading waterfall, the autumn leaves emit a vibrant red hue and capture the attention of visitors.

Autumn foliage has also arrived around Baekdamsa Temple in Inner Seoraksan.

Against the backdrop of clear, flowing water and numerous stone towers stacked by visitors, the colors of the foliage appear even more vivid.

Starting this year, the shuttle bus road and the walking trail along the Baekdam Valley have been separated, allowing for a safer visit.

[Lee Jong-su / Pungnap-dong, Seoul: The foliage on Seoraksan is so gorgeous, and the valley is so beautiful, it really feels like being somewhere in China, like a miniature Zhangjiajie. It is wonderful.]

The autumn foliage on Odaesan, which began early this month, is also in full swing, coloring areas from 900 to 700 meters above sea level.

Fields of colorful foliage have unfolded across every ridge, and red and yellow leaves decorate the autumn scenery brightly around the streams of clear flowing water.

Visitors who headed to the autumn mountains in search of foliage feel rewarded for their exhausting hike by the colorful leaves.

[Kim Hye-kyung & An Ok-ja / Sanggye-dong, Seoul: It is beautiful. We were slightly worried on our way here, wondering if the leaves hadn't turned yet, but seeing it in person, it is so fantastic and wonderful.]

The autumn foliage moves southward day by day, with first foliage recorded on October 14 for Bukhansan, Jirisan, and Hallasan, and on October 15 for Woraksan.
