Lee Myung-jae (Daejeon), Lee Yu-hyeon (Gangwon), Italo (Jeju), and Patryk Klimala (Seoul) have been nominated for the EA Sports K League Player of the Month award for September of the 2026 season.

The Korea Professional Football League (KLeague) announced that fan voting for the Player of the Month award featuring these four nominees will run until October 11.

The Player of the Month award is presented jointly by the K League and Electronic Arts (EA), the official video game partner of the K League, to the player who delivers the best performances each month.

The winner is determined by combining the results of a preliminary vote by the K League TSG Technical Committee (60%), followed by a second round consisting of K League fan votes (25%) and FC Online user votes (15%).

The nominees were selected based on performances from Rounds 27 through 30 of K League 1, as well as the rescheduled 22nd-round match between Gangwon and Incheon.

Lee Myung-jae recorded 1 goal and 3 assists across 4 matches, making the Round Best 11 three times and earning his first-ever nomination for the Player of the Month award.

Italo, who also secured his first nomination, tallied 2 goals and 1 assist in 4 matches, highlighted by a game-winning goal against Gangwon in the 30th round that earned him Round MVP honors.

Klimala likewise delivered a strong performance, scoring 3 goals in 4 matches, including a multi-goal performance against Jeonbuk in the 29th round that won him Round MVP.

Lee Yu-hyeon made 5 appearances and contributed 1 assist, including setting up an equalizing goal with a left-footed cross against Jeonbuk in the 28th round to earn a spot in the Round Best 11.
