Kim Min-jae Expected to Miss Tomorrow's Match Against Uzbekistan Following Outspoken Remarks

Three days ago during the national football team's match against Venezuela, defender Kim Min-jae drew major attention by throwing his football boots and making blunt, outspoken remarks.

It appears that Kim Min-jae will not play in tomorrow's (October 6) match against Uzbekistan.

During the match against Venezuela, Kim was substituted off in the second half and appeared to exchange words with manager Moreno. He was also captured on camera strongly expressing his frustration on the bench by taking off and throwing his boots.

[Kim Min-jae / National Football Team Defender (October 2): "The team as a whole needs to fight, compete, and defend together, but those aspects are not working well right now. Honestly, when I look at our defenders, I feel bad for them, and everyone just needs to keep their heads down and work hard."]

Following these candid remarks, Kim has been unable to participate in regular training for two consecutive days—yesterday and today—due to poor physical condition, doing only indoor training instead. This makes his appearance in tomorrow's match against Uzbekistan uncertain.

Manager Moreno refrained from commenting on Kim's actions and remarks.

[Roberto Moreno / National Football Team Manager: "My principle is that what happens inside stays inside. If there are issues to resolve, we will always resolve them internally and privately with the players."]
