"Bitten 14 Times on Legs and Hands"... Attacked by Badger Jumper Out of Bushes

A woman in her 70s taking a walk at a citizens' park in Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province, was attacked by a badger that suddenly appeared.

She was bitten on 14 parts of her body, including her legs and hands, underwent general anesthesia surgery, and has been hospitalized for three weeks.

Jecheon City launched efforts to capture the badger following the incident, but the exact population of badgers living nearby remains unknown.
