Lee Seo-jin Sets Sights on 'I Live Alone' for 'My Genie Secretary'

Actor Lee Seo-jin shared his ambitious goal ahead of the premiere of the SBS variety show "My Genie Secretary" .

On the afternoon of the 28th, a press conference for "My Genie Secretary" was held at the Kensington Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, with producing director (PD) Kim Jung-wook, actor Lee Seo-jin, and actor Kim Kwang-gyu in attendance to discuss the program.

During the event, Lee Seo-jin mentioned the same-time slot competitor, the MBC program "I Live Alone", and confessed, "We never won against them during Season 1, so our goal this year is to beat 'I Live Alone'."

He added, "Kim Kwang-gyu, who came from 'I Live Alone', betrayed his former home and is on our side now. The moment we win the competition, I really hope Kim Kwang-gyu wins the grand prize at the next Entertainment Awards," making everyone burst into laughter.

In response, Kim Kwang-gyu playfully retorted, "Let's not touch my former home. I love 'I Live Alone'."

The returning "My Genie Secretary" promises to transform into real secretaries who closely care for stars not only during their public schedules but also in their private lives. Having previously proven its popularity by ranking first in viewership ratings for its time slot, surpassing 170 million cumulative views, and placing first in the OTT variety show category during the previous season, high expectations are once again surrounding the new season.

Featuring a star-studded guest lineup starting with singer BIBI, along with Cha Tae-hyun, RESCENE, and Seo Inyoung, "My Genie Secretary" premieres on the 28th at 11:10 PM.
