SUPER JUNIOR HEECHUL Donates 100 Million Won for Flood Relief in Southern Regions

HEECHUL of the group SUPER JUNIOR has donated 100 million won to support neighbors in the southern regions, including Geoje and Tongyeong, who suffered extensive damage from record-breaking heavy rainfall.

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Lim Chae-chung) announced on the 24th that HEECHUL donated 100 million won to support flood victims in the southern regions.

It was reported that upon hearing the news of the severe flood damage in the Geoje and Tongyeong areas this morning, HEECHUL immediately called the association main number to check the donation account and transferred 100 million won before the call had even ended. According to the association, the process was so swift that the transfer was already completed while receiving guidance from staff.

He stated, "After seeing the news that the southern areas were designated as a special government disaster zone, I realized the damage situation was much more severe than I thought. I believe that the kind of donation I have in mind is something that should be acted upon without hesitation the moment you make up your mind." He added, "I am sure many people do not yet know the details of the damage, and I hope more people will take interest and gather their hearts together."

He also added, "I hope this brings a little bit of strength to the neighbors affected and to those sweating to restore the areas in the scorching heat, and I encourage everyone to keep their spirits up until the very end and return to their normal, peaceful daily lives as soon as possible."

This donation is planned to be used for the restoration of the affected areas and to support the return of victims to their daily lives.
