On August 21, UMI Entertainment announced that it has signed an exclusive contract with actor Choi Bum-ho, who has built a solid acting foundation over a long period of time.
After debuting as an MBC open recruitment actor in 1992, Choi Bum-ho has been active in various works. He recently left a deep impression on viewers by playing Chief Jang, the head of the Cheonsan Unit who is the only person capable of controlling Agent Kim (played by So Jisub), in the SBS drama "Agent Kim Reactivated". He has been praised as a premium actor who elevates the completion of every project with his restrained emotional acting, heavy charisma, and exceptional character portrayal.
Lee Woo-mi, CEO of UMI Entertainment, shared, "Actor Choi Bum-ho possesses both sincerity toward his projects and outstanding acting skills. In line with our company's philosophy of nurturing an actor's career from a long-term perspective, we will spare no effort in providing full support so that he can fully showcase his capabilities across various genres and large-scale projects."
Choi Bum-ho also expressed his thoughts, saying, "I am happy to make a fresh start with UMI Entertainment. I will approach the public with better works and deep acting. I will never lose my initial mindset and will grow into an actor you can trust and watch, so I ask for your great interest and support in my future endeavors."
Meanwhile, UMI Entertainment is a comprehensive content company encompassing actor management as well as the production of films, dramas, and performances. Under the systematic management of his new agency, Choi Bum-ho is expected to continue active pursuits across various mediums including films, dramas, and OTT platforms.
