Actor Koo Kyohwan's upcoming film "REAWAKEN MAN: THE RED" has confirmed its theatrical release for Wednesday, September 30.
"REAWAKEN MAN: THE RED" tells the story of Seok-hwan (Koo Kyohwan), an unemployed job seeker whose only qualification is baseless confidence, who discovers he has the ability to revive 72 hours after death and subsequently finds himself targeted in a mysterious pursuit. The film is generating high anticipation as Koo Kyohwan's first solo starring vehicle. He is joined by supporting cast members Shin Seung-ho, Kang Ki-young, and Kim Si-a.
The newly released trailer sparks curiosity by showing job seeker Seok-hwan calmly waking up three days after dying from an attack by unidentified figures. Accompanied by the copy, "72 hours after death, I came back to life," Seok-hwan grows stronger with each resurrection, further fueling interest in his unique ability.
Furthermore, the dynamic events that unfold as Seok-hwan begins to be chased by those who have discovered his resurrection powers heighten anticipation for the film.
"REAWAKEN MAN: THE RED" will be released with a one-week gap from "Tazza: The Song of Beelzebub," which targets the Chuseok holiday period. Instead of reaping Chuseok box office benefits, it plans to target the upcoming National Foundation Day and Hangeul Day holiday periods consecutively.
