SK Telecom announced that it will host the "SK Telecom Adaptive Open 2026 with SK Hynix," a golf tournament bringing together athletes with developmental disabilities and professional players, on August 24 at 88 Country Club in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province.

Now in its 5th edition, the tournament will feature 30 athletes with developmental disabilities, professional golfer Lee Seung-min—who has a developmental disability—along with 15 professional golfers and celebrities, and 15 supporters with professional golf backgrounds.

Nine players competing on the Korean Professional Golfers' (KPGA) Tour, including Kim Han-byeol, Kim Hong-taek, and Ham Jeong-woo, as well as four players from the Korea Ladies Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour, including Kim Jae-hee and Lee Se-hee, will team up with the athletes with developmental disabilities to take to the field.

SK Telecom will provide the individual champion and runner-up with travel and tournament expenses to participate in either the 2027 US Adaptive Open or the G4D Open.

In addition, 88 Country Club will offer "1-year 9-hole round passes outside of regular hours," while the KJ Choi Foundation will provide generous benefits such as full sets of golf equipment.

Along with the golf tournament, a variety of programs will be held, including an art exhibition by Roart, an art collective for artists with developmental disabilities, and a congratulatory performance by Dream With Ensemble, a performance troupe composed of individuals with developmental disabilities.
