Actor Lee Joo-seung Attends Blue House Luncheon Hosted by President Lee Jae-myung

Actor Lee Joo-seung (37) attended a presidential luncheon at the Blue House as the grandson of his grandfather, who passed away last February.

On the 13th, Lee Joo-seung posted several photos on his social media with the caption, "The Blue House, thanks to my veteran grandfather." In the released photos, Lee Joo-seung was dressed in a suit, wearing a badge on his chest that read, "The Korea you protected, the Republic we will make bloom. An invitation from the President."

Lee Joo-seung also revealed gifts he received at the Blue House. He posted a photo of a box containing a wristwatch and a commemorative item, leaving the comment, "The Blue House is cool~ Wow~"

It was reported that President Lee Jae-myung invited national veterans and their families to the Blue House that day to share a luncheon.

Lee Joo-seung's invitation to this event is related to the background of his late grandfather, Lee Jong-gyu. Born in 1930, Lee Jong-gyu served as an officer during the Korean War, and after being discharged, he worked as an elementary school teacher. He is also known for an anecdote from his teaching days when he paid the tuition for students in difficult financial circumstances out of his own pocket.

Meanwhile, it was also reported that after winning the director survival variety show "Director's Arena" and receiving 100 million won in prize money, Lee Joo-seung donated the entire prize money in accordance with his grandfather's wishes.
