A man who secretly lived in a garage of a home in the United States and stole food from the refrigerator has been arrested by the police.

The Manhattan Beach Police Department posted a photo of the suspect's arrest on its official social media along with a caption saying, "An unwelcome guest was found in a garage."

Without disclosing the suspect's identity or the specific location of the incident, the police advised, "Keep your garage secure and stay vigilant if you notice anything unusual around."
