A man who was released after being arrested for domestic violence has been caught by police for returning to the victim's residence and attempting to break in out of resentment.

The Seoul Nowon Police Station announced that it has arrested and is currently investigating a man in his 50s, identified as A, on charges of attempted trespassing.

A was previously arrested around 5:50 a.m. yesterday (August 10) on charges of punching the woman he lives with in the head multiple times.

After being released following emergency temporary measures—which included orders under provisions 1, 2, and 3 to stay away within 100 meters—he returned to the victim's residence at around 3:00 p.m. and attempted to enter, though he failed, according to police investigations.

Police confirmed that A was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crime.

Police plan to apply for an arrest warrant for A on charges of attempted trespassing once their investigation is concluded.
