In the premiere episode of Season 5 of the SBS variety show "Whenever Possible," airing at 9 p.m. on Tuesday the 11th, "Yoo-Yoo MCs" Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeonseok are joined by "gap friends" Hwang Jung-min and Jung Hoyeon as they explore the nooks and crannies of Jungnang-gu, Seoul.
Arriving in a leather jacket, Jung Hoyeon immediately showed off her exceptional variety show instincts by saying, "I feel like I've stepped right inside a TV." When Yu Jae-seok expressed confidence in gaming, she firmly put the brakes on him, saying, "Sunbae, you need to base your confidence on your actual results." She also quickly disciplined Yoo Yeonseok when he said, "I have a blood sugar spike," playfully calling him out with, "Sunbae, did you just say you were sleepy during a broadcast?" and sending the set into laughter.
In particular, Jung Hoyeon drew attention by showing off her fierce "gaming geek" side. She confessed her extraordinary love for placing bets, sharing, "Even during the filming of 'HOPE', Director Na Hong-jin and I played coffee bet games whenever we had downtime."
Continuously making loving calls for more games by saying, "Let's play another game," Jung Hoyeon not only raised the stakes for snack bet games, but also made the studio burst into laughter by pleading in front of a street claw machine, "Can't we play just one more game before we go?" Hearing about Jung Hoyeon's fanatical love for games, Yu Jae-seok reportedly threw his hands up in defeat, saying, "There's a reason Hoyeon was cast in 'Squid Game'."
On top of that, Jung Hoyeon completely captured the heart of representative "noodle geek" Yu Jae-seok by showing off her unique pride in her love for noodles, saying, "My name is 'Jung Homen'."
From gaming to personal preferences, Jung Hoyeon's explosive performances will be revealed on "Whenever Possible," airing at 9 p.m. on Tuesday the 11th.
