SBS Power FM Reclaims #1 Spot in Radio Listenership After Two Years

SBS Power FM (107.7MHz) has reclaimed its status as South Korea's top radio channel, rising to the number one spot in overall radio listenership for the first time in two years.

According to the 2026 round 3 radio listenership survey results released by Korea Research on the 5th, SBS Power FM took an overwhelming first place with an overall channel share of 23.3%.

This marks the first time in about two years that SBS Power FM has claimed the number one spot in overall channel listenership since the round 3 survey in 2024. Having consistently maintained the top throne among listeners in their 20s through 40s, its core demographic, the channel has now swept the overall listenership rankings as well, proving its powerful competitiveness across all generations and age groups.

SBS Power FM's stellar performance also shone through in individual program achievements. Its flagship program "Cultwo Show" swept the number one spot in overall program listenership for both weekdays and weekends simultaneously, showing the true power of a national entertainment radio show.

The weekday program rankings were also swept by SBS Power FM. Following "Cultwo Show", "Kim Young-chul's Power FM" ranked second overall, and "Hwang Je-sung's Hwangje Power" ranked sixth overall, placing three programs within the weekday Top 10.

Having recaptured first place in overall listenership based on young, trendy content and the unrivaled activities of popular DJs, SBS Power FM has solidified its position as South Korea's representative radio channel through a solid lineup that is not biased toward specific time slots or age groups.

Meanwhile, the radio listenership survey was conducted for two weeks from July 7 to 20 among 3,000 radio listeners aged 15 to 69 in Seoul and the metropolitan area.
