Saori, a 37-year-old Japanese-born TV personality starring in the SBS entertainment program "Kick a Goal", is set to share her honest thoughts on the current craze surrounding obesity medications.

The YouTube channel "MYHZ" will host a live broadcast centered on the theme of dieting at 9:30 PM on August 6. Hosted by writer Lee Kyu-won, who goes by the nickname "Hongdae Writer Lee", the broadcast will feature pharmacist Jung Jae-hoon and TV personality Saori as they discuss the craze for obesity drugs and related dieting issues.

The broadcast is expected to cover the growing social interest in dieting alongside the expansion of anti-obesity treatments such as Wegovy and Mounjaro.

Pharmacist Jung Jae-hoon will address the effects of obesity medications and issues related to their misuse and abuse, while Saori plans to share her own dieting experiences to emphasize that lifestyle management should take precedence over medication.

The health project "Fat Monitoring Team", which Saori participates in, will also be introduced. Composed of Noh Hyun-tae, Saori, and trot singer Juha, the "Fat Monitoring Team" released a new song titled "Lose Weight (Diet)" and has been continuing campaigns to promote healthy dieting and incorporating exercise into daily life. They emphasize the importance of sustainable lifestyle habits and self-care over extreme weight loss.

This broadcast was planned with the intent to treat obesity not as a cosmetic issue, but as a matter of health and life. The "MYHZ" team stated that they plan to discuss the importance of managing both the body and mind together instead of relying on medication-dependent diets.
