Actor Lee Min-ho is transforming into an ambitious rookie reporter in the movie "The Assassin(s)".
"The Assassin(s)" follows the pursuit of suspicions and the mastermind behind the assassination incident of the First Lady that shocked South Korea on August 15, 1974.
Lee Min-ho is expected to bring vibrant energy to the film by taking on the role of a rookie reporter at Dongsung Ilbo, brimming with passion and grit. Having exerted overwhelming global influence with his stable acting skills across genres, Lee Min-ho plays "Young-il," who sets out to cover the National Liberation Day ceremony. He is set to vividly portray the passionate struggle of a fresh reporter who witnesses the First Lady assassination incident and innocent victims from up close, and boldly dives into the questions surrounding the case.
The released character stills capture various moments of "Young-il" tracking down the truth of the incident, drawing attention. First, his serious appearance with a loosened tie and rolled-up sleeves, as if deep in thought, clearly shows the fierce daily life of "Young-il" as he runs tirelessly to chase the clues of the case.
