NCT 127 Renews Contracts with SM Entertainment, Continuing Their 10-Year Journey

Group NCT 127 has renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment in celebration of their 10th anniversary.

SM Entertainment announced through an official statement on the 15th, "Based on the solid teamwork built over the years and deep trust in our company, all members—JOHNNY, TAEYONG, YUTA, DOYOUNG, JAEHYUN, JUNGWOO, and HAECHAN—have renewed their contracts as NCT 127." With this, NCT 127 continues their journey with SM Entertainment through their first contract renewal after 10 years of debut.

SM stated, "Since their debut on July 7, 2016, NCT 127 has established themselves as a representative K-pop artist amidst the passionate support and love of fans over the past 10 years. We once again thank the members and fans who have been part of this brilliant journey." They added, "We promise to continue providing full support for NCT 127's activities and remain a reliable partner."

NCT 127 is a sub-group of NCT that debuted on July 7, 2016. The "127" in the team name refers to the longitude of Seoul, embodying the ambition to promote K-pop worldwide with Seoul, the home of K-pop, as the base.

Since their debut, NCT 127 has been loved domestically and internationally for their unique music and intense performances, including "Fire Truck", "Limitless", "Cherry Bomb", "Regular", "Kick It", "Sticker", "2 Baddies", and "Fact Check".

Beyond group activities, the members have also been actively engaged in individual pursuits. Starting with TAEYONG, members including DOYOUNG, JAEHYUN, YUTA, HAECHAN, and JUNGWOO have released solo albums and singles, showcasing their individual musical colors.
