A Mercedes-Benz passenger car driven by a woman in her 50s, identified as A, crashed into a sidewalk near Jeongja Station on the Suin-Bundang Line in Bundang-gu, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, at 6:50 a.m. today (July 14).

The accident left a man in his 30s who was on the sidewalk in cardiac arrest; he was transported to a hospital but later died.

The driver, A, and a passenger in their teens were also injured and are currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital.
