The "2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer", which will be held grandly at KINTEX in Ilsan on August 9 (Sunday), has completed its star-studded lineup of 27 teams. On the 13th, the three hosts who will lead the festival were officially announced: RIIZE's SUNGCHAN, NCT WISH's SION, and Hearts2Hearts' IAN.
This combination is particularly interesting given their unique connections to SBS "INKIGAYO". RIIZE's SUNGCHAN, who previously served as a fixed host for "INKIGAYO" and was recognized for his smooth hosting skills and witty remarks, will serve as the anchor. With his excellent energy and experience, SUNGCHAN is expected to lead the "Gayo Daejeon Summer" with stability as the reliable eldest brother and main host.
Joining him are NCT WISH's SION, who showcased a fresh and witty charm as a special host for "INKIGAYO", and Hearts2Hearts' IAN, who acted as a human vitamin with her unique bright energy during her time as a special host. As SION and IAN make their debut as main hosts for a large-scale music festival, they are expected to create chemistry like no other under the guidance of their reliable senior, SUNGCHAN, who was also a part of "INKIGAYO".
Celebrating its third summer this year, "Gayo Daejeon Summer" has built a powerful lineup of 27 teams that span generations and genres, including previously confirmed acts such as Stray Kids, BABYMONSTER, RIIZE, NCT WISH, Hearts2Hearts, as well as SEVENTEEN's DINO, BIBI, and YENA, promising an unprecedented scale for a first-half wrap-up show.
The production team for "Gayo Daejeon Summer" expressed strong confidence, stating, "We have welcomed artists with the trendiest and most refreshing energy to match the concept of a festival that will cool down the summer heat. We are preparing special stages and performances from 27 artists, so please look forward to it."
