Scheduled to premiere on Friday, June 26 at 9:50 PM KST, SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Agent Kim Reactivated" (written by Nam Dae-joong, directed by Lee Seung-young and Lee So-eun) is a "father-universe" revenge action drama. It follows the "most ordinary" father who becomes the "most dangerous" man to fight and rescue his only daughter.
The lead actors of "Agent Kim Reactivated"—So Ji-sub, Choi Dae-hoon, and Yoon Kyungho—perfectly visualized the heavy and desperate world of the drama through a black-and-white mise-en-scène in a triple pictorial with fashion magazine "Allure Korea", released on June 24.
In the released pictorial, the three actors overwhelm the gaze with their heavy presence alone. From the group cut where they exchange sharp gazes across a single table, to the two-shot of So Ji-sub and Choi Dae-hoon that conveys a narrative more intense than any line of dialogue, and the two-shot of So Ji-sub and Yoon Kyungho that evokes a movie with its unique perspective, they truly showcase a next-level aura. The two-shot of Choi Dae-hoon and Yoon Kyungho, looking in different directions and creating a strange tension, is also more than enough to stimulate curiosity about the tight bromance they will display in the drama.
In the interview conducted alongside the photoshoot, their intense contemplation on set and their solid trust in one another were fully revealed.
So Ji-sub, who stands at the center of the revenge action, spared no praise for his co-stars, saying, "Both of them are incredibly talented actors." He added, "Whenever the three of us gathered, we always discussed the scenes. As we talked, new ideas would naturally emerge before I even realized it. That process was so much fun. It felt like having a mighty army on my side," hinting that the three actors' intense chemistry was added to a solid script.
Choi Dae-hoon also clearly remembered their intense first meeting. He picked "the first day of filming when the three of us met" as his most memorable moment, sharing the passionate atmosphere on set by saying, "Whenever we faced difficulties, we actively exchanged ideas and helped each other out like a community cooperative." He added, "I relied on them a lot. On the days the three of us met, my commute to work was truly enjoyable," letting fans glimpse the depth of their bond.
Yoon Kyungho raised expectations by adding a delightful behind-the-scenes story from the end of last year. Recalling the moment the three of us stood as joint presenters at the '2025 SBS Drama Awards', he brought smiles to the set with his witty remark: "We only set up a basic premise, but ideas just kept pouring out. This is my third project working with Ji-sub hyung, and I wonder how he managed to hold back such brilliant ideas all this time."
So Ji-sub's key point to watch, which highlights the true charm of the drama hidden behind the high-impact action, was also impressive. He emphasized the warm core of the work, saying, "Viewers might expect thrilling action. "Agent Kim Reactivated", a revenge action drama about a father who becomes the world's most dangerous man to save his daughter, will premiere on Friday, June 26 at 9:50 PM KST as the follow-up to "My Royal Nemesis".
