Actor Ha Jung-woo is currently considering an offer to appear in the film series "Inside Men," which is being planned as a trilogy.

His agency, Walkhouse Company, stated, "He has received an offer to star in the film 'Inside Men' and is currently reviewing it."

"Inside Men" is based on the webtoon of the same name by writer Yoon Tae-ho. The original film was released in 2015 and drew 7.07 million viewers.

The production company, Hive Media Corp, is planning a prequel to the film as a three-part series. It will tell the story of the "insiders" within a massive cartel formed by media, capital, and power in the late 1980s. It is reported that parts 1 and 2 will be filmed simultaneously this year, with part 3 scheduled for filming in 2027.

Initially, the project had cast Song Kang-ho, Koo Kyohwan, and Soo Ae with a series format in mind, but the actors stepped down as the production underwent a reorganization.

The "Inside Men" trilogy will be co-directed by Kim Min-bum, who served as an assistant director for "Flu" and "12.12: The Day," and Kim Jin-seok, who was an assistant director for "Veteran," "The Man Standing Next," and "Harbin." The screenplay is written by Lee Ki-cheol, known for "The Thieves," "Assassination," and "Harbin," with adaptations by "YADANG: The Snitch" writer Kim Hyo-seok.

Ha Jung-woo is currently filming the Netflix movie "The Generals," directed by Yoon Jong-bin.
