Scheduled to premiere on Friday, June 26, the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Agent Kim Reactivated" (written by Nam Dae-joong, directed by Lee Seung-young and Lee So-eun) is a "father-universe" revenge action drama. It follows the "most ordinary" father who becomes the "most dangerous" man to fight and rescue his only daughter.
The third teaser video for "Agent Kim Reactivated", released on June 17, begins with Manager Kim (played by So Ji-sub) heading home from work like any other day. Smirking at Seong Han-su's (played by Choi Dae-hoon) remark, "Manager Kim, let's see each other's faces more often now," Kim enjoys a warm drink and a good time with Seong Han-su and Park Jin-cheol (played by Yoon Kyungho).
However, as soon as Seong Han-su asks, "How long are you going to live just looking at your daughter like that?" the scene shifts to Kim's daughter, Min-ji (played by Seo Su-min), being bullied by her peers. Rushing to the school, Manager Kim drops to his knees, pleading, "I am raising my child alone, so there are many things I lack. Please forgive us." But after tearfully asking, "Dad, why don't you believe me?" Min-ji disappears, leaving Manager Kim in utter despair.
Determined to "find Min-ji first," Manager Kim sets off on a relentless search for his daughter alongside his friends. The moment a door swings open, he unleashes merciless action using his fists and an axe, sending thugs flying. He heightens the tension with a chilling warning: "I'm keeping you alive because I believe my daughter is alive." Following his declaration, "Otherwise, you all die," Manager Kim loads his gun as a massive explosion erupts. Meanwhile, Seong Han-su, who was taking down thugs bare-handed, throws a fire extinguisher to completely devastate the scene. At the same time, Park Jin-cheol shatters a window, grabs someone by the collar, and unleashes a storm of punches, showcasing the monstrous power of these fathers.
Later, Ju Gang-chan (played by Joo Sang-wook), a figure from the underworld, heightens curiosity with an intrigued expression upon hearing, "That girl named Min-ji has disappeared somewhere, and her father is looking for her." Furthermore, following the line, "The guy we thought was dead has returned like a ghost," Park Kang-sung (played by Kim Sung-kyu) appears in a diving suit. Meanwhile, Sang-ah (played by Son Na-eun), who was previously known only as Manager Kim's colleague, engages in a life-or-death knife fight with Park Kang-sung, raising further questions.
Finally, Manager Kim, walking down the stairs with a cold expression, asks, "Has anyone seen a sophomore from Songin High School, Class 7, wearing a brown blazer and a yellow hoodie?" before warning, "If not, get out of my way," and preparing to throw a punch fueled by grief and rage, leaving viewers highly anticipating what comes next.
The production team shared, "The third teaser captivates viewers by teasing high-octane action driven by a father's agonizing love. Please look forward to a non-stop visual feast and a massive wave of catharsis." They added, "The third teaser was produced to hint at the massive impact brought by the awakening of Manager Kim, who was thought to be just an ordinary father. Please keep an eye out for the 'Manager Kim'-style father universe, which will deliver refreshing, explosive excitement in the summer heat."
"Agent Kim Reactivated" will premiere on Friday, June 26 at 9:50 PM KST, following the conclusion of "My Royal Nemesis".
Meanwhile, a special broadcast titled "The Agent Kim Report: Resurrection of a Legend", which offers a sneak peek at key scenes from episodes 1 to 4 of "Agent Kim Reactivated", has been scheduled to air on Friday, June 19 at 10:30 AM KST and Saturday, June 20 at 12:30 AM KST. Hosted by Son Na-eun, who plays the mysterious character Sang-ah, this special broadcast is expected to heighten anticipation and spark viewers' interest with an exciting preview.
