As "My Royal Nemesis" continues its unrivaled box office run until the very end, sweeping everything from the No. 1 spot in June's drama brand reputation rankings to overall buzzworthiness, the lead actors fueling the show's popularity—Lim Ji-yeon, Heo Nam-jun, and Jang Seung-jo—have personally revealed their favorite scenes.

The SBS Friday-Saturday drama "My Royal Nemesis" (written by Kang Hyun-joo, directed by Han Tae-seop and Kim Hyun-woo) broke its own viewership record once again last week, reaching 11% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 10.5% nationwide, securing the No. 1 spot among all weekly miniseries. Its buzzworthiness metrics are equally overwhelming. In addition to ranking No. 1 in the TV drama buzzworthiness chart, the show dominated the cast buzzworthiness category, with Lim Ji-yeon taking 1st place and Heo Nam-jun taking 2nd, proving its power as an undisputed hit. At the heart of this massive success is "My Royal Nemesis"'s thrilling plot, which twists classic rom-com clichés, alongside numerous iconic scenes. Now, the stars who drove this success have personally shared the "favorite scenes" that stole viewers' hearts.

First, Lim Ji-yeon, who plays Shin Seo-ri—an obscure actress who becomes "vicious" after being possessed by the soul of a legendary Joseon-era villainess—shared, "I want to choose the ending scene of Episode 7, where Seo-ri charges forward to keep her promise to Se-gye." This scene garnered significant attention for its fairy-tale-like direction, signaling the official start of their straightforward romance. Lim Ji-yeon revealed that her favorite line is also in this scene, expressing her deep affection for the project: "It's the scene where Seo-ri honestly shares her feelings, saying, 'If it breaks, it breaks; if it shatters, it shatters—and that's okay.' This line is the most 'Seo-ri-like' and stands out because it beautifully captures her unwavering sincerity and courage toward Se-gye."

Heo Nam-jun, who plays the vicious chaebol Cha Se-gye—often called a "monster spawned by capitalism"—chose the ending of Episode 3, which drew an explosive response for the so-called "handprint contract signing scene." He recalled, "It was the scene where I felt the highest level of immersion during filming. It was memorable because it marked the official beginning of Seo-ri and Se-gye's relationship." He also selected "Contract signed" from the same scene as his favorite line, adding, "When I was acting, I was so focused on my lines and emotions that I couldn't fully take it in. But watching the broadcast, I was amazed by how perfectly the camera, lighting, editing, and music came together." He showed off the team's tight-knit bond by adding, "I felt even more grateful because it felt like a scene completed by all the staff members doing their absolute best in their respective roles."

Jang Seung-jo, who plays Choi Mun-do and serves as the perfect scene-stealer, added to the excitement by choosing the viral "Kang Hee-bin possession meme scene" from Episode 2. Expressing his satisfaction with the drama's unique rom-com charm, Jang Seung-jo said, "I think it's a legendary scene that perfectly showcases the unique tone, manner, and direction of "My Royal Nemesis", drawing viewers deep into its charm."

With "My Royal Nemesis" captivating audiences by delivering legendary scenes in every episode, only two episodes remain until the finale. Viewers' expectations are soaring to an all-time high as they wonder what other epic moments await in the remaining broadcasts.

Episodes 13 and 14 of "My Royal Nemesis" will air this Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.
