Amid the passionate cheering of home fans, Samsung's batting lineup exploded from the early innings.

Following Choi Hyeong-woo's opening RBI single to center field in the first inning, Kim Ji-chan hit a two-run RBI single with one out and runners on second and third in the second inning. Park Seung-gyu added an RBI single to center field, giving Samsung a four-run lead.

Leading 4 to 1 in the sixth inning, with two outs and a runner on second, Kim Ji-chan hit a low slider from relief pitcher Yang Hyeon-jong. Left fielder Castro failed to judge the batted ball properly and could not chase it down, resulting in an RBI triple.

Soon after, Park Seung-gyu delivered another RBI single, effectively sealing the victory for Samsung.

The stellar pitching of Samsung starter Jurado also shone brightly.

He precisely painted the corners with five different types of pitches, holding the opponent to just one run (unearned) over 7 innings and throwing the home fans into a frenzy.

Securing a 6 to 1 victory, Samsung clinched a spot in the Korean Series with a series record of 3 wins and 2 losses. Jurado, who picked up his second win of the playoffs alone, was selected as the Series MVP.
