"Thank You, Audiences!"... "The Assassins" Holds Appreciation Events Ahead of Breaking Break-Even Point

The film "The Assassins," which has ranked among the top 4 box office hits for Korean films in 2026, is holding appreciation events for audiences.

An event giving away movie tickets to celebrate achieving a top 4 spot in 2026 Korean film box office hits runs through Tuesday, October 20. Two movie tickets for "The Assassins" will be awarded to randomly drawn participants who fill out the entry form, and winners will be announced on Wednesday, October 21.

Additionally, an event offering limited-edition HEIGHTS collaboration T-shirts through a lucky draw is underway for those who book tickets and post verification on social media with mandatory hashtags. This event runs through Sunday, November 1, with winners announced on Monday, November 2. Further details regarding the events can be found on Hive Media Corp's official social media channels.
Released on September 23, "The Assassins" surpassed 3 million moviegoers nationwide in just 20 days since its release, and has now exceeded a cumulative audience of 3.26 million, ranking it fourth in box office sales for Korean films this year. With the break-even point (approximately 3.3 million viewers) just around the corner, this event strongly serves as a token of gratitude for the viewers' support.

Although "The Assassins" has surrendered the overall box office top spot to "Chiikawa The Movie: The Secret of the Mermaid Island," it firmly maintains its position at number one in the Korean film box office.
