Kim visited a pig farm vulnerable to the heat to assess livestock damage and inspected the operation status of ventilation and cooling systems inside the livestock sheds.

Kim stated, "Amid the continuing heatwaves, nothing is more important than the lives and safety of on-site workers," and urged, "Farm owners and local government officials must thoroughly manage the situation so that all agricultural workers, including foreign seasonal workers, can avoid working during peak heat hours and take sufficient rests."
