The Korean-style Canary Board is a real-time monitoring system included in the "Industrial Transition Employment Stability Basic Plan" announced by the government early this month.

The plan is designed to analyze real-time employment changes by industry and age in major job positions with high exposure to artificial intelligence (AI), and issue real-time warnings when employment shocks are detected.

Additionally, researchers exchanged views on ways to design job policies for young people and other groups to be more field-oriented and effective.

The Ministry of Employment and Labor plans to review the discussions and reflect them in the detailed implementation plans for employment policies in the second half of this year.
