A claim has been raised on social media that a delivery driver secretly ate the food ordered by a customer after the jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) failed to arrive.
What on earth happened? Let us find out through the article.
This is a post recently uploaded by a netizen on social media.
The user claimed to have experienced an absurd incident after ordering food through a delivery app.
They ordered jjajangmyeon and tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork), but the food did not arrive even after the scheduled time. While checking the location on the app and looking out the window, they reportedly witnessed the delivery driver eating the ordered food in a corner under a bridge across from their home.
Although they received newly prepared food after filing a complaint with customer service, their meal had already been disrupted.
The user also claimed that although they were informed the driver in question would be penalized, the driver was still performing normal delivery operations a month and a half later.
In response, the delivery app explained that it was a misunderstanding arising from a situation where "the food was damaged during delivery, and the driver ate the food after paying the cost out of pocket and discarding it."
