Fire Breaks Out at Car Mat Manufacturing Plant in Yangju; No Casualties Reported

A fire broke out at a car mat manufacturing plant in Baekseok-eup, Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, at around 6:22 a.m. today (Nov. 5).

There were no casualties, and two factory employees managed to evacuate on their own.

Responding to the report, firefighters mobilized over 10 pieces of equipment and about 40 personnel, completely extinguishing the blaze in about 30 minutes.

Fire authorities believe the fire started outside the building and spread inside, and they are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire.
