Today (Nov. 3) saw a wide temperature gap between morning and afternoon.
As cold air moved down, Seoul's morning temperature dropped to around 5°C (41°F).
In the afternoon, under the autumn sunshine, temperatures rose above 17°C (63°F), making it mild.
Temperatures are expected to remain somewhat higher than average until the day after tomorrow, keeping the weather from getting too chilly.
Meanwhile, due to the yellow dust that flowed in yesterday, today's air quality is generally at a moderate level.
As night falls, additional fine dust from abroad is expected to flow in, causing the concentration of fine dust in the capital area and South Chungcheong Province to temporarily rise to "bad" levels.
Also, dense fog is expected to form from late tonight until tomorrow morning.
Visibility in inland areas could drop below 200 meters, so drivers should exercise caution for traffic safety tomorrow.
Tomorrow morning's low is expected to drop to 3°C (37°F) in Chuncheon, while the daytime high in Gangneung will reach 19°C (66°F), maintaining a large temperature range.
Rain will begin in Jeju tomorrow night, and is expected to spread across the country on Thursday, after which temperatures will drop sharply.
