Three-Bus Collision Near Yangjae IC on Gyeongbu Expressway Leaves 7 with Minor Injuries

At around 7:50 p.m. today (October 29), a collision involving three moving buses occurred near the Yangjae Interchange on the Seoul-bound Gyeongbu Expressway in Seocho-gu, Seoul.

An express bus collided with a bus traveling ahead of it, and a commuter bus following closely behind rear-ended the express bus. Seven people, including passengers on the express bus, sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.

Two of the five lanes were closed to handle the accident, causing heavy traffic congestion on nearby roads during the evening rush hour.

Police and fire authorities plan to investigate the exact cause of the accident once the cleanup at the scene is completed.
