Actor Lee You-jin and his fiancee Cha Kyeong-eun, who are preparing to tie the knot in November, are joining "You're my destiny."
At the end of the October 27 broadcast of SBS's "You're my destiny," a preview was revealed featuring Lee You-jin and Cha Kyeong-eun ahead of their November wedding.
In the preview, actors Lee Hyo-jung and Lee You-jin drew keen attention by appearing side by side, marking the first time in the history of "You're my destiny" that a father and son, rather than a married couple, have taken part together.
Visiting the studio in person ahead of his son's wedding, Lee Hyo-jung demonstrated their extraordinary father-son bond. However, in the interview that followed, Lee You-jin sparked curiosity by sharing, "I see now why people fight so much during wedding preparations," adding, "I don't think there's any household where the groom's father makes more of a fuss than the groom himself like in ours."
A notably tense atmosphere then unfolded during the formal pre-wedding meeting between the two families. In the midst of what had been a cordial gathering, Lee Hyo-jung abruptly shifted the tone with a meaningful remark, saying, "You-jin spoke to me very seriously, saying, 'I don't think I can do this.'"
Despite Lee You-jin's flustered reaction, Lee Hyo-jung continued, saying, "As an actor, he hasn't reached his rightful place yet." Caught off guard by the unexpected remarks, bride-to-be Cha Kyeong-eun ended up shedding tears, raising curiosity to its peak regarding what truly transpired during the gathering.
The realistic wedding preparation journey of soon-to-be-married Lee You-jin and Cha Kyeong-eun, alongside the heartfelt family gathering featuring father Lee Hyo-jung, will be revealed on the upcoming Tuesday, November 3 broadcast of "You're my destiny."
