Actor Park Min-young is returning to the small screen, transformed into a flawless, high-performing career woman.
The production team of the new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Nine to Six' (written by Choi Ji-oh, directed by Lee Hyung-min and Oh Song-hee), which is set to premiere on Wednesday, November 25, unveiled a teaser poster capturing the professional aura of main character Kang Lee-ji (played by Park Min-young) on October 27.
'Nine to Six' is an on-and-off work-life-balance romance drama about a rational woman who has lived by proving herself through her work, only to meet a sweet and emotional man as she rewrites the standards of work, love, and happiness.
In the released teaser poster, Park Min-young instantly captures attention with her stylish look, reminiscent of the cover model for a business magazine. Her chic, sharp bob haircut paired with a sophisticated suit is the ultimate embodiment of office workers' aspirations. Even amidst a flurry of flying documents, she maintains a confident and relaxed expression, exuding a powerful aura of a top-tier professional.
Notably, the phrase inscribed on the poster, "Perfect in work skills, a mystery in dating skills," draws attention. It hints at the twist charm of Kang Lee-ji, who will show clumsy and unpolished sides in romance despite her flawless work capabilities. Alongside this, photos of Kang Lee-ji, Han Sun-woo (played by Yook Sung-jae), and Park Hyun-tae (played by Go Soo) lined up side-by-side on an office wall stimulate excitement by hinting that unexpected relationships will break into Kang Lee-ji's self-sufficient daily life.
The production team shared, "Please look forward to the work-life-balance romance that will unfold in 'Nine to Six' to see what kind of sides the professional Kang Lee-ji—from 9 AM to 6 PM—will show in romance, which remains a mystery."
'Nine to Six' will premiere at 9 PM on Wednesday, November 25.
