Actors Kim Ga-eun and Yoon Sun-woo are set to become parents.
Kim Ga-eun recently announced her pregnancy through her YouTube channel. In a video titled "Revealing My Pregnancy on My Husband's Birthday," she shared, "Our first wedding anniversary is coming up soon. With another member joining our family, we are now a family of six. A little angel has come to us."
The clip captured a surprise announcement for her husband, Yoon Sun-woo. Upon finding a baby-shaped balloon decorating the room wall and a pregnancy test clearly showing two lines, he could not hide his joy.
Kim Ga-eun expressed her anticipation, saying, "I can't even fathom how much happier and more fun our lives will be from now on. Let's do well together, our family of six."
Receiving the unexpected gift on his birthday, Yoon Sun-woo drew laughter by saying, "My birthday is nothing now. Honey, you are the king now and I am a slave, just a slave."
Kim Ga-eun and Yoon Sun-woo grew into a couple after co-starring in the 2015 KBS2 drama "Single-minded Dandelion." Following a 10-year relationship, the two tied the knot in October last year.
The couple, who have been raising two dogs and one cat, have now expanded their family to six after conceiving one year into their marriage.
