Cleared Drain With Bare Hands in Heavy Rain... Why Mixed Reactions?

The first topic is "cleared drain leaves with bare hands."

On a day when heavy rain was pouring, a video showing someone clearing fallen leaves from a blocked street drain with their bare hands has become a hot topic online.

However, various opinions are emerging because the person who took this action is a member of the National Assembly.

This happened on the 18th.

A lot of rain was falling across the country.

Representative Park Hae-chul of the Democratic Party of Korea uploaded such a video to his social media at the time.

It appears to show him inspecting an area at risk of flooding due to heavy rain.

With street drains blocked and water rising up to his ankles, Representative Park is seen wearing a suit and dress shoes, getting drenched in the rain, and clearing the fallen leaves piled up on the drain with his bare hands.

Netizens who watched the video showed mixed reactions.

There were many positive comments such as "He worked very hard" and "It's great that he cleared the drain himself."

On the other hand, some critical views also emerged, saying, "It seems like a show" and "It would have more sincerity if he worked without filming it."
