It has been belatedly revealed that another student was caught possessing smart glasses at the University of Seoul's early admissions essay exam, an incident that comes on top of a previous case where a test-taker was caught wearing them.

According to data submitted by the Korean Council for University Education to the office of Representative Koh Min-jung of the Democratic Party of Korea, the University of Seoul caught one student who was in possession of smart glasses equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) functions during the natural sciences mathematics essay exam held on October 3.

Previously, it was reported that one test-taker wearing smart glasses was caught at the essay exam sites of both the University of Seoul and Yonsei University.

This brings the total number of confirmed smart glasses-related cheating cases at the University of Seoul's natural sciences essay exam to two.

Like the test-taker who wore the smart glasses, the University of Seoul expelled the student who possessed them from the test site and barred them from taking exams for the next three years.
