Rain and wind will sweep across the country today.
Looking at the current radar imagery, rain is falling in parts of the central region, Honam, and Gyeongnam due to the influence of rain clouds approaching from the West Sea.
Most of the rain is falling at around 1mm per hour, so the volume is not large yet.
However, heavy rain exceeding 30mm per hour briefly poured down in Baengnyeongdo.
The rain in the central region will mostly stop by tonight, while the southern regions and Jeju will continue to see rain through tomorrow.
The expected precipitation ranges from a minimum of 5mm to a maximum of 70mm.
Strong rain of around 20 to 30mm per hour will pour down in the central region from this afternoon until the rain stops, and in the southern regions from late afternoon until early tomorrow morning.
Strong winds will also blow.
Strong wind advisories have been issued for various western areas, including Seoul.
These advisories are expected to expand to other regions going forward.
The weather is chilly as it rains.
Today's daytime high in Seoul is forecast at 21°C (70°F), about 6°C lower than yesterday afternoon.
Daejeon is expected to have a daytime high of 23°C (73°F), and Daegu 26°C (79°F).
The rain in the southern regions and Jeju will continue until Tuesday.
After the rain clouds pass, cold air will move down from the north, causing temperatures to drop sharply.
Please take good care of your health amidst the fluctuating temperature changes.
