[Reporter] Yes, recently on social media, footage was shared showing people lined up from dawn at a shopping mall in Jamsil, Seoul, to buy fresh fruit mochi from a foreign brand.
[Video] The video shows a long line of people waiting outside the building starting at 5:00 a.m., long before the shopping mall opens.
Some were even captured lying down and waiting while wrapped in blankets or comforters.
This product is currently said to be on limited sale exclusively at the Lotte World Mall store in Jamsil.
While it is gaining popularity through word-of-mouth on social media, reactions online also include remarks such as, "Do we really have to go to such lengths to eat it?"
