On the SBS variety show "My Little Old Boy," which aired on the 11th, Kim Seung-soo and Song Jong-ho participated in a match-making retreat with their mothers.
On this day, Kim Seung-soo's mother, Choi In-sook, introduced her son, saying, "My son was born in 1971 and passed the open recruitment for MBC actors on his first try. He is currently working hard on his restaurant business as well."
She continued to praise him, saying, "He might look like this now, but he used to be very handsome. Female students used to chase him around ever since kindergarten, and he received a huge stack of letters. Since he couldn't get married despite being such a catch, I worried whether there was something wrong with his masculinity, so I had him get a health checkup. They told me his male hormone levels were quite high," drawing laughter.
Song Jong-ho's mother drew attention by launching an age-based jab at Kim, pointing out, "He is a whole five years younger than Kim Seung-soo." She then highlighted her son's good-natured character, saying, "He hasn't been able to land a project for over three years, and my heart aches whenever I think about that. He faced financial difficulties, but he didn't show a single sign of having a hard time. He is such a dutiful and kind son."

The first female participant to go on a blind date with the two men was Park Hye-yeon, born in 1987. It was revealed that she has been a freelance announcer for 15 years and also runs a mental health-related business.
Drawing attention, she shared that her ideal type is someone with a good sense of humor who is witty, shares great chemistry, and can make her laugh, adding that it would be even better if they could enjoy traveling together.
The second female participant was Min Ji-su, born in 1991, who studied abroad in China and currently works in VIP protocol and presentations for a major conglomerate. Her father praised her, saying, "She is as pretty and lovely as a jewel," while also highlighting that she owns a cozy home in Seoul.
Following the introductions, one-on-one dates were held based on the male participants' choices. Contrary to expectations, both male participants chose Min Ji-su, surprising everyone.
Min Ji-su went on a date with Kim Seung-soo first, followed by a date with Song Jong-ho. Observing this, Seo Jang-hoon remarked, "I'm sorry, but as many of you probably noticed, Ji-su's facial expression is quite different compared to earlier," pointing out the change in Min's demeanor when interacting with Song Jong-ho versus her date with Kim Seung-soo.
Later, Min Ji-su asked Song Jong-ho if there was someone among the female participants whom he had hoped would pick him during the first-impression vote. In response, Song honestly said, "My first impression was that I hoped Ji-su would come to me."
