President Lee Jae-myung's job approval rating stood at 37 percent, unchanged from the previous survey released three weeks ago, Gallup Korea announced.
Gallup Korea reported that the findings came from a survey conducted from October 6 to 8 among 1,000 eligible voters nationwide aged 18 and older.
Negative assessments fell by 5 percentage points (p) from the previous poll to 51 percent, while 12 percent of respondents withheld their opinions.
Regarding the reasons for positive performance assessments, "diplomacy" ranked highest at 24 percent, followed by "the economy and people's livelihoods" at 14 percent, and "overall good performance" at 7 percent.
For negative assessments, "real estate policy" cited the highest share at 18 percent, with "national defense, security, and North Korea policy" coming in second at 15 percent.
These were followed by "reducing prosecutorial authority and abolishing the prosecution service" at 8 percent, along with "overall poor performance" and "the economy and people's livelihoods" at 7 percent each.
In the survey on political party support, the Democratic Party of Korea garnered 35 percent, while the People Power Party recorded 26 percent.
The Rebuilding Korea Party logged 3 percent, the Reform Party recorded 2 percent, and the Progressive Party saw 1 percent, with unaffiliated voters accounting for 31 percent.
The survey was conducted via interviewer-administered phone calls using randomly generated virtual mobile phone numbers.
The margin of error is plus or minus 3.1 percentage points at a 95 percent confidence level, with a contact rate of 42.3 percent and a response rate of 9.7 percent.
