The LPGA Tour has announced its schedule for the 2027 season, featuring 33 tournaments with a total prize pool of $147 million (approx. 198 billion won).
LPGA Tour Commissioner Craig Kessler said in a press release today (Korea time) that they have put together a strong 2027 schedule, noting that with the help of wonderful partners, they have made meaningful progress in player travel, tournament venues, and prize money scale.
Next March, the Future Ladies World Championship will be held at Clearwater Bay Golf and Country Club in Hong Kong, followed by the Nanea Cup and the Lotte Championship for two consecutive weeks in Hawaii.
Additionally, The Classic, a tournament with a total purse of $5 million, will return to Corning Country Club in New York State for the first time in 16 years since 2009.
The schedule for the five major championships has also been finalized.
The Chevron Championship will be held next April at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas; the U.S. Women's Open in May at Inverness Club in Ohio; the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in June at Congressional Country Club in Maryland; and The Amundi Evian Championship in July at Evian Resort Golf Club in France.
The final major of the season, the AIG Women's Open, will take place in August at Royal St George's Golf Club in Sandwich, England, which has previously hosted the British Open.
The Hanwha Life Plus International Crown, a national team competition, will move its venue next year to Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly City, California, USA.
In South Korea, the BMW Ladies Championship will be held from October 14 to 17, though the tournament venue has not yet been decided.
The LPGA Tour stated that the total prize money for regular tournaments excluding majors will increase by about $12 million compared to 2026, surpassing $94 million.
Excluding the majors and the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship, The Classic boasts the largest prize pool at $5 million, followed by the JM Eagle LA Championship ($4.75 million) and the FM Championship ($4.70 million).
