South Korea's space launch vehicle Nuri successfully completed its 5th launch today (October 7) afternoon. It headed into space carrying a record 15 satellites, the most ever, though a slight disappointment arose as one cube satellite failed to deploy.
Here is more from reporter Lee Tae-gwon.

At 12:25 PM today, Nuri soars into space, shooting out flames.
Citizens who watched Nuri take off powerfully burst into cheers.
[Whoa~~]
Two minutes after launch, Nuri successfully completed the separation of its first stage, the fairing (the protective cover enclosing the satellites), and the second stage in succession, gaining altitude.
Twelve minutes after launch, it reached its target altitude of 570 km.
Subsequently, it smoothly deployed the five primary payload satellites—ultra-small cluster satellites—one by one at intervals of 35 to 40 seconds.
Weighing less than 100 kg each and operated together like a single entity, these five cluster satellites will precisely observe the Korean Peninsula and surrounding areas in high resolution from their target orbit.
However, out of the 10 cube satellites, one named "ORSAT," intended for monitoring marine debris off Jeju Island, failed to enter orbit because its deployment canister lid did not open.
[Oh Tae-seok / Administrator of the Korea Aerospace Administration : The Ultra-Small Cluster Satellite No. 6 succeeded in its first communication with the Korea Antarctic Sejong Station a short while ago, around 13:08. As for the cube satellites, 9 out of 10 were successfully deployed, while 1 failed to deploy....]
The Korea Aerospace Administration (KASA) noted that this marked the first time among Nuri's five launches that the liftoff occurred on schedule without any delays. KASA evaluated that this launch raised Nuri's cumulative success rate from 75% to 80%, enhancing its reliability.
KASA plans to put an additional five ultra-small cluster satellites into space orbit during Nuri's 6th launch, scheduled for the second half of next year.
