This footage was captured aboard a passenger plane in China on September 28.
A female flight attendant can be seen kneeling in the aircraft aisle, apologizing to a passenger.
The incident occurred after she accidentally bumped a sleeping passenger's elbow while moving down the aisle pushing a beverage cart.
Although she apologized immediately, the passenger strongly protested, ultimately forcing the flight attendant to kneel. This scene was captured entirely in a video filmed by another passenger.
As the controversy grew, the airline stated that it would protect its employee and has launched an investigation.
However, it did not disclose whether any follow-up measures would be taken against the passenger in question.
